June Virtual News Letter

I will not be putting out any information written by me, in the Virtual News Letter after today. However I do like my recruiting poster so I will be leaving the site open. Should any of the Elected Officers wish to write something and send to me via e-mail or fax, I will copy it to the news letter and post it. We did have the Post Election last, Tom Larsen remains as Commander, John Beauchamp stays as 1st Vice Commander, Stacy Garving will fill the office of 2nd Vice commander and Shirley Mathews remains the Adjutant. The members present finally settled upon a dollar amount the post would be willing to pay to get a Howitzer for display so, the paper work can be submitted putting us on the list to receive one when it becomes available. LT. COL. (RET) Deborah Dixon has joined the ranks as the post newest member and was elected as Service Officer, replacing Alvin Lopez. Giving him a much needed rest after the many years he served in that office.
